Writing

c.f. prior is a writer, editor, and researcher.

Guided by a preoccupation with hospitality, mutual dependence, and loss, they produce texts, collective experiences, and objects that undermine attempts to keep us from one another. Through research into literary, visual, and material cultures, Prior articulates the ways our experiences of illness, relationships, and grief are necessarily bound up with those of others’ and invites the reader, participant, and/or viewer to join them in the search for a more interdependent world.

They are represented by Jess Lee at the literary agency A. M. Heath.
