what’s possible

This piece takes the reader through a series of playful proposals for another world. These ditties interlace prose and poetry to explore what’s keeping us from ourselves and one another and suggest ways to draw the horizon of what’s possible nearer. It draws from a deep well of utopian, radical, and trans thought that sought and seek to write into being new possibilities for living.

what’s possible was written in response to a bad year within a Bad Year. Without getting too into the weeds here, this text-based experiment returns to the early, hopeful days of the internet as web—that is, a linking medium—in order to imagine a better world over an against the one we have. it doesn’t have an end or a beginning—so you could start here, or here, or here, and you’d still see the whole thing, eventually—and it is growing every week.
