The day I handed in my undergraduate dissertation, I signed a contract for a traineeship at Whitechapel Gallery. In that job I did all manner of weird and wonderful things, including compiling the world’s most incoherent playlist from exhibiting artists’ suggestions, organising curators’ talks around East London, and best of all creating this map that people used to find out about Francis Bacon’s life in London.
